Anyone got a spare million they could let me have

I would live in the house Monday to Friday and pick a carriage for the weekend.

Anyone got a spare million they could let me have

That is beautiful and you get self catering railway carriages in the price.

    Delights of misspelt ebay items

Well done, that really is a great bargain. I do the same when searching for vinyl records on eBay e.g typing in The Beetles instead of The Beatles. I do know other people do it but not too many. It eliminates a lot of the competition which is great.

60 Years of the Carry ons

My wife has just informed me that it’s from a made for TV movie called Babs and the actress playing Barbara Windsor is Samantha Spiro . Not sure she’s right though, although I didn’t tell her that.

60 Years of the Carry ons

There was a tv programme called Fantabulosa made in the 2000s which I saw but I’m sure it’s not from that.

60 Years of the Carry ons

That first photo is odd. It includes a Kenny Williams lookalike and a Barbara Windsor lookalike. Do you think it’s some sort of rehearsal to see what the seen would look like?

    Ronald Chesney RIP

I just looked him up , I didn’t realise he died on the 12th of this month. I’ll have to start going back on the On The Buses website more often !

    Ronald Chesney RIP

No I wasn’t aware of it as I’ve been to an auction all day and it’s strictly phones on silent or turned off. That really is a great shame. A prolific writer as you’ve stated, together with Ronnie Wolfe. A sad loss indeed and unfortunately not many left now.

    New Still Game

I must admit I wasn’t keen on series 8 , I just didn’t laugh that much. But now I have had a second viewing it is growing on me. I still prefer the first 6 original series though.

    Waiting for God (1990–1994)

Yes Bill Fraser plays a great character as well. Frank Williams is still fairly active according to the IMDB website. And I think I’ve got a film on dvd with Harry Fowler in it when he was a child but can’t think what one.

    Waiting for God (1990–1994)

I saw that a few a few people had listed some of their favourite British sit coms so here’s a few of mine The army game ( Alfie Bass makes me cry with laughter in this) Rising damp On the buses ( I’m sure you guessed that one) Open all hours Still game Extras For the love of Ada Casanova ‘73 (...

    Couple of today's Snow Pictures

Incredible that you’ve still got snow on the ground this late in the year. This winter seems to be really dragging. I’m not one for blazing temperatures but I will be glad to see the summer this year.

    Is it just me??...

Doc Martin was filmed in Port Isaac,Cornwall which you may already know. Thought I’d mention it because if any of you go there try the crab, it is the best I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had loads from all over the country. It comes straight off of the boats and is cooked straight away. Delicious
