    Went out the front of my house this morning and noticed I was getting wet! Water was falling from the sky ?!? A neigbour told me she remebered this happening many many what seemed like years ago, and she THINKS it was called "Rain" then.

    I'm afraid we actually peaked at about 6000 guests!!!! and that number simply brings the site to it's knees. Our databases can't handle it, PHP scripting goes off the page, it's scary.

    One mention I will make here is that the support team at the web hosts that we use are seriously second to none! I dial their number and each and every time the call is answered within seconds by intelligent friendly people who KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!

    According to our hosting company on really hot days (they are based in London) we should expect the busy hours AM and PM to be slower than normal. It's the nature of the beast I'm afraid, nothing anyone can do about it.
