Anyone here set up a blog? I am considering one for an entirely different part of my life.

I have heard Wordpress is OK but so far have failed to get started - pressed the right keys but the confirmatory e mail never turned up!

The Google freebie blogspot seems easy to go but has no hashtags.

Any other ideas?

At this stage want to do the free version but if it develops will then upgrade into the paid one.
