Slightly cooler up here. I may have to consider taking my cardigan off and only wearing a waistcoat! Not yet hot enough to remove vest though!!!

Well over here across the Pond, we have had pouring rain, possible tornadoes, and thunderstorms for the past week. One lady will killed when a tree fell on her house. Nearby roads were impassable due to 3 feet of water and people going home during the evening rush hour on a well traveled parkway suddenly found their cars engulfed in water up to their windows. They had to be rescued by boats. Only today, did we have lovely weather.

The summer heatwave came to an abrupt end with Thunderstorms in certain areas of the UK . Some people expressed joy for the cooler weather others vented their anger not because their beloved love of the heat was thwarted but because the increased cloud meant they missed seeing the blood moon last night .

That happens every time there is something to watch out for in the sky at night (meteor showers etc.)It always seems to get blocked by heavy rain or clouds.
