I've been watching the series on DVD lately and found it shared five links with LOSW(John Comer,Liz Smith,Liz Goulding,Ronnie Hazlehurst and Bernard Thompson) not quite as funny though IMO. Uncle Mort made Smiler seem like a ray of sunshine

It was a different sort of comedy to losw, certainly watchable and still better than the drivel offered these days

I think she may have been Carter Brandon's girl friend at one stage.?

I used to see Robin Bailey (Uncle Mort) near to where I grew up. He had relatives that way .
