Do you ever imagine what the characters did offscreen in the rest of their life in Summer Wine land? I have an image of Clegg reading a book or listening to the radio in the evening, but not popping next door for a brew because Pearl is too scary!

How true I bumped into him in a bookshop just nears Compo's house, his eyesight was not that good, and he asked me about the author of a book he had in his hand, he bought the book and I walked back with him to where they were set up filming at Compo's house

Marina spent her time looking at her Tom Cruise photos planning her next quest for a male companion just in case Howard is unavailable , Miss Davenport and her exchange ideas and strategies on their Whatsapp group chat. Hobbo is a curtain twitcher looking out for potential assassins .
