What's the Connection

Is it the station that Billy Ingleton intends leaving from (THE MAN WHO NEARLY KNEW PAVAROTTI )?
 
Think I am wrong so not really sure why I am writing this however , is this the station used for the location shots regarding the Croft and Perry show Oh Doctor Beeching, which had Stephen Lewis in the cast, our beloved Smiler.

Yes you are wrong Captain, it is indeed Arley station used in that show,well done that man
