A bag of Sweets

A few years ago I broke a tooth on a toffee bar. It required a couple of expensive dentist visits, first to prepare the site for a crown, then to fit the crown. It hasn't put me off toffee, though, but now I break it up with a hammer instead of biting it.

Talking toffee the great Scots comedian Chic Murray used to tell a story about passing a man lying on the ground asking him " Have you fallen?? " , " No I'm just trying to break a particular difficult bar of Toffee in my back pocket"
