I used to collect Militaria, primarily Civil War, and WWII. I sold my home and moved into a flat, and things just had to go. I did make quite a bit of profit, over what I had into things, so I guess that was the silver lining, so to speak. I have a few guitars I bought, and they can be incorporated into the decor, unlike the other stuff. Anything I have now, I keep limited because of space..

PHWOARR!! I thought it wasn't a traditional GPO / BT phone - made by GEC, it is the model "9T" of their "1000" type. Made from 1956. Phones supplied to GPO/BT had a date code on the base - you might find a date stamp inside. This was probably originally connected to an internal switchboard, but not the public network.

I had several, one was a Teac, can't remember the others, but they were used for my hobby-profession! I still have some 15ips recordings, including the 1988 tape for my "Dry Dock" video!
