Yes they use props that are very realistic looking. Same as when they do Bar scenes in shows with fighting etc. The bottles break easily and look real but not. The umbrella ones are good as the actor will hold the umbrella a certain way that it doesn't bend when striking. Can you imagine when the director says to do the scene again. It can be very painful. Can cause quite a headache. Well I came back from the holiday yesterday so I have lots to catch up on. The weapons are all props. Plus the slapping in the face and punching etc are all fake.
