Bing Crosby's Merrie Olde England

I am a Bing Crosby fan and cannot get enough of the film 'Merrie Olde England. I can order a copy of it on DVD from the USA but it is in Region 1 and I need region 2. It is also NSTC and not PAL. Some of you might know the old joke about NSTC standing for, Never The Same Colour Twice. I do have it it on DVD but I recorded it from a taped recording I made when I was just knee-high to a grasshopper. Every year I search the internet to see if it is available in Merrie Olde England but the only place I can find is a company in VA USA and it is the wrong format. Are there any Bingle lovers out there who can help me? ............PLEASE.

Tomorrow I will send for the men with white coats and a white van. My wife has just informed me that I have the disc I was asking you about. She bought it for me last Christmas. I do have a good excuse for not remembering, our dog, Benny, was rather ill at the time and, well you know how it is with pets. Got to sit and watch it, again.

Glad you found you had It a copy in PAL format. That is another reason why I like region 2 versions over region 1 NTSC for some of my favorite UK shows.

Was gonna offer to help you locate a copy in region 2 if you wanted. I enjoy seeking out hard to find DVD's of programs I like.

Yes, that is the one Roger. Two weeks after this he dropped dead after playing a round of golf. It was a foursome and his partner was Manuel Pinero. They won the match by one shot and according to reports he was singing as he walked off the course.

Making hordes of woes this morning. :02:Now let me try again. The copy that we found yesterday isn't very good so, I am still searching for a good copy. There is a good one on YouTube but which I would like to try and copy and transfer to disc. Might have to buy a new recorder for that.

Thanks for the info Rick. Looked it up but that particular one is on tape. I am going to check for a recorder so that I can download from the laptop. I will look up OBS Studio. I will keep you informed.
I did not find any DVD's but came across some VHS PAL copies on Amazon UK.
Hope the link works.

As you mentioned youtube has some copies. I did not watch to check their quality. A free program like OBS Studio could screen capture that if you wanted. Then burn it to disc or keep on computer to archive and watch later.
