Foggy trio around Marsden

Pete,
You have been around the areas where the programme was shot extensively , excepting the obvious sites Nora's House , Sid's Cafe et al is there any recognition of the programme? For example the house that was used as Auntie's shop are there any notices/plaques pointing out that it is the location of Auntie's house . I think I am making an analogy with the Blue Plaques that adorn walls of Comedian's residencies . The programme brought so much to the area I would have thought that some recognition would have been made by the local councils .

Hi captain, thanks for your post,in answer to your question, nothing, absolutely nothing, not a postcard in a shop not a mention anywhere, nothing at all to think it was ever associated with this great programme,I think that every time I go.I can walk around Marsden and see filming locations and recall scenes everywhere I go,like I said, whenever I watch an episode I recognise far more of Marsden than anywhere else,it saddens me that there is no recognition or mention, and that people travel great distances and only go to and know of Holmfirth, which is only about five miles away.
