Because they're trying to appeal to a younger generation, the ones that will be paying a license fee for many years to come, unlike us older, on our last legs or ones that find ways not to pay anymore.

As Pearl says its "youf TV " . One of the pioneers of "youf TV" Janet Street Porter is ironically now a fully fledged pensioner . At 70 I wonder what she would make of this drivel.
