So it is and it's a left hand drive too. I've never seen one before. I thought it was a Mini Moke when I first saw it.

I initially thought Mini Moke as I saw them whizzing around Portmerion when I was there the other weekend. I'm guessing they featured in The Prisoner.

It's a Citroën Méhari, in effect a 2CV with a jeep like body made out of plastic.

They were never officially sold in the UK.

I know there are many petrol heads on here but I wish we could turn back the clock and go back in time because the modern cars are just a scourge, well sorry the drivers of these powerful monsters are a real blight on the country, nobody cares . I live on a 20 mph street and I am the only one who keeps to the limit . The traffic levels aren't high but the number of high power cars that speed up and down it are frightening . At the bottom of what is a steep banked road there's a park so someone speeding down who gets it wrong is going to plough through the flimsy fence and onwards into the park . Problem is no one is going to pay a huge amount for a car that just puddles along and modern life dictates people need to be somewhere yesterday . It's the sheer size of the modern SUV's they are effectively tanks without the gun .
