If Only

The two locos on the left look old. Are they still in use?

They are I have an interest but not a spotter but know that York Parcel Sidings is a depot for a freight company I think are called Direct Rail Services . The stock there in the picture are type 37 diesel locomotives the one nearest is owned by a railtour company West Coast Railways and has been housed there temporarily the other belongs to the freight company . I think the first type 37 was manufactured in 1959 and many up to 1964 , many were preserved and then brought back into service as they are reliable workhorses.
