I have been thinking.....when funds are low.....and our favourite little scruffy person is required to cough up after the interrogation after being asked "where's your betting money" he always exclaims "IT'S IN ME WELLY".....Foggy and Cleggy tipped him upside down enabling them to give him a "trouser transplant" from Dougie's.....and Seymour and Cleggy did the same to ensure he bought the round [and"3 packets of crisps"] in the White Horse......so here is my point.....he obviously had loose change in his welly......so why did he never limp ???...because.....if you remember he shouted "there is something in my welly !!!" when he had a tiny flint for a lighter...where he sat down and showed us all the bright pink sock...the one that Foggy said would frighten peacocks !!!......very strange !!!!

Maybe he had a secret pocket inside his welly. That way he is not stepping on his money. The flint was loose and jabbing his foot, or getting stepped on.
