On the 25th May I spent 3 days in Holmfirth meeting a couple of fans from the USA to show them around the area,This time I stayed at the Sunnybank Guest House which was very nice,breakfast was good,room very comfortable & clean,a very peaceful place to stay, to eat one night we visited the Huntsman Inn which was one of the few places serving food on a bank holiday evening,the food was good along with the service,the following night we ate the the White Horse which was also very good and great value,the weather was kind,I did manage to get pictures of Sam's house and street.
The lady who ran Sunnybank told me it was a friend of hers who bought Cleggy's house,they had already planned to spend a lot of money refurbishing the place,but had a shock when a lot more money was required to shore up the flooring upstairs which was in a sorry state
