The storm wasn't quite as bad as expected in the DC area. The canceled flights in the Northeast also had a rippled effect, causing many flights further west to be canceled as well.
Also, by me writing this, I am officially letting everyone here know I am fine and we still have our power. Apparently the nasty storm we had on June 29th already took down the weak trees. Thats the same storm that knocked the oak tree over our house.
