Yes a bit of a shock to see that this morning,never knew he was ill, I did see him at Wembley many years ago

RIP David Bowie
Hugely shocked I'm a big fan cannot believe it I just bought new album Blackstar from Amazon and listened to it on Saturday night been a fan since early seventies saw him on the Ziggy tour in Newcastle . One of the best pieces of archive material for me is his 2000 gig at the BBC , it was never released missed it every time its been repeated on BBC in an attempt to record it , thankfully its on You Tube . Worked in a tailor/boutique shop when he started up Ziggy and four of us wanted same haircut so all headed to a hairdressers nearby in Newcastle City Centre which was quite trendy but hairdresser looked somewhat puzzled anyway we decided to toss coins to see who went first luckily I was third and the guy was getting the hang of it by then . I am just crestfallen and bewildered by the shear suddenness of his passing.

Don't thick I have been so Shocked since the death of Lennon or Elvis. The man was huge. A global superstar on Many levels. A very versatile performer who could put his talents to use in any field of entertainment . The world is a sadder place without him. Rest in peace David.
