Rest in peace Terry Wogan, I grow up listening to that voice on the radio. Yet another taken from us by the horrid disease.

I'm the same Pearl used to listen to him o Radio 2 yet another sad loss.RIP

Sir Terry Wogan

What a deep shock I have just been watching his recent series where he visited a large number of places in the UK with a Taxi driver , he will be remembered not only for his radio show but his contribution to Children in Need is legendary and of course those commentaries for Eurovision . He recently did a series travelling around the whole of Ireland and it brought to your attention not only how gentile he was in his approach but he never forgot his roots and his upbringing . A sad day

A legend has gone. He was in my view the best there was. His wit, Humour, attention to detail. That instantly recognisable voice. The full works. TV and Radio is a poorer place without him. RIP Terry Wogan.

Terry Wogan was a keen Last of the Summer Wine fan. He once often talked about Compo and Nora Batty.

Terry Wogan excelled at everything he did.

He was the King of Radio 2.

Look how good he was at Eurovision (best thing on it), Blankety Blank, Children in Need, Wogan (the chat show).

All brilliant stuff.

I've never known anyone say a bad thing about him. I also gather he was the nice man he always appeared to be on TV and radio.

A legend indeed.

Yes Terry Wogan accompanied me on my way to work each morning in the car right up to my retirement in 2007. A great broadcaster, RIP
