Been looking for a complete or near complete set of these 'Arkwright' ads for ages. I think after Gordon Rollings died, they did continue with the larger bloke for a short time.

Apparently there are Laurel and Hardy connections.

All very vintage Last of the Summer Wine, aren't they?

I am sure that it was Ivy she looked just like she did when they went to Scarborough and the hat was the same style she wore when they went to ScarboroughI once enjoyed a pint of John Smiths in a pub opposite the Tadcaster brewery and one of our group said how far did the beer travel ,the landlord just pointed across the road! :reindeer:
