Did anyone have a street party today? We did here it was great and the weather was kind
My block did it last week while I was on holiday. They had a great time apparently . Today would have been a disaster. Its rained on and off all day:thumbsdown:
Did they have it last week BECAUSE you were away Dick?
If I see anyone waving a Union Jack at the local pub I'll let you know. The main organizers are now on holiday in the U S A so they wanted it out of the way before they went. Just coincidence I guess!!
Sad reflection that there seem to be more England flags on Cars and people's windows for the Euros then there were on show for the Queen's 90th Birthday .
Look out Pearl if England win Euro 2016. We will be flagging by then! This is true, It's gone flag mad round here, first we had the Leicester flag for the football then the Union Jack for the Queen now it's the English flag for the football again, next of course we'll have the English again for the blooming olympics.
DOOOOOOH Our council have made the taxi men remove their flags for health and safety reasonsLook out Pearl if England win Euro 2016. We will be flagging by then!

How is it a health and safety problem?:unsure::unsure:
caveat emptorA taxi customer may poke himself in the eye climbing into the cab. The taxi men seem to attach them to the doors and windows.
