What are you hoping for

Terry...at 40+C I do NOT need a bl**dy warm scarf!!!:fp:

Actually...fun fact, although it has been 40+ for a few days now, Christmas day is forecast to be 25C! At one point it was going to be only 23! If that eventuates it means it will be the COLDEST Christmas here in over 40 years!! (STILL won't need a scarf! LOL)

For those that need it, gather round children 40C = 104F :p**^^<:

My preference for Christmas (or any) dinner is roast beef, gravy, roasted root veg, followed by a small slice each of the three standard (in my family) pies, apple, mince, cherry. The only thing turkey is good for is the thigh and drumstick meat in hash, with minced cooked potatoes, minced onions, and lots of sage to make it taste similar to stuffing.

Aside from some Lost Episodes of LOTSW that no one knows about but come to light mysteriously ,like the three episodes of Dads Army , and U and Gold decide to commission and make them , a decent curry on xmas day because I would rather eat dog poo than a xmas dinner with turkey.
I'm completely with you CC, I'm away camping over Christmas and I was gutted to learn the only Indian nearby was closed on Christmas Day :(

My Christmas present arrived today for me in the post.
Like Brian I won't need another sweater. I already have one. :)
Also I can't remember what Howard got in an earlier episode that was wrapped in gift paper that Clegg thought was 'Killer Canaries' that was knitted as well. I don't need one of those.

Speaking of turkeys, if one were to be advised of the inside scoop on their lives prior to being the main dish, one would be totally aghast. Vegetarians unite!

100% WITH YOU ADNADOR !!....I have been a vegetarian for 40 years....[and a vegan for 10]......
If people saw the things that happen prior to the animal's "passing" [I wanted to use another word but we are a family site !!] they would all think [and eat] the same way as I do.
On a personal note.....Everton to win a few games [and actually score some goals]....and for the wheels on Liverpool's title challenge to fall off [but I am not holding my breath !!!].
X!.
