In addition, the firm announced that the OS upgrade would be offered free of charge for devices running Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Phone.
The offer, which is limited to the Windows 10's first year of release, may aid its adoption.

Embarrassed to admit we are still running xp pro on all 8 PCs.

I'm still using Windows 7 on both the desktop and the tablet hybrid, and I like it. I hope enough people try 10 and review it to provide the info I'd need to consider 'upgrading' before the deal expires.
