In the episode, Spores, Billy discusses a bad dream he had where Robin Hood was "ginger".

Then, when the trio asks the abandoned wife what her husband looks like, they asked her if he was "ginger".

What does this mean?

This'll probably get me drummed out of the scouts but I had wondered if it was the old rhyming slang for gay, ginger beer ...... ??? :-[

I think I might have heard something like this before, although it might be somewhat of an outdated term. Red or Orange as an answer stumps me because I actually think of the color of ginger root.

The way the gang was talking, I thought perhaps it could have been a gay or feminine term.
