Compo drinking his tea from a saucer just seems natural. He started the show that way in the Pilot "Of Funerals and Fish," but they didn't keep it up. I noticed in early episodes he was drinking from his cup, so I decided to watch for it. I was surprised how long it was before they brought that back.

Can you guess the episode where he started drinking out of the saucer again?
 
Oh, that is a tough one. You know my husbands grandmother use to drink out of a saucer. He said it was to cool it down.

That's a good guess, but there's an earlier episode I'm looking for.
 
My granddad used to use his saucer for the same reason as brendalovescompo's grandmother. Perhaps it's a 'generation' thing?
 
Time for a clue: Drinking from the saucer was brought back in one of the specials.
 
no, no, I take it back. That was John Comer's last show, right?
