Here's a door number quiz to keep you going a while. I have found a total of 6 households that have the number 4 on their doors. We've already done one of them - Mrs. Partridge in Short Back and Palais Glide, but there are still at least 5 more. 2 are well know characters and 3 are more obscure. Let's see how many we can get.
 
Congratulations Elmc! You got the first one. That was their second house next to Clegg's white door with the letter slot and up the hill from the White Horse.

Clue for the next one: One house that is many episodes, you never see the number on the door, but it is on the gate.
 
Here's a clue to another number 4 door. This was one time when two regular cast members knocked on this door.
 
Clue for another #4 Door. This episode was a special and appeared very, very early in the show.

No, Dick. I'm sorry it wasn't Chuffer Enright or WHOOPS.
We don't actually know the name of the person.
It is identified more my the action taking place at the door.
