Edie's Comments

We heard Edie tell Glenda to "Drink your coffee" many times. A few times she gave a different comment. Tonight in In Search of Childlike Joy and the Farthest Reaches of the Lotus Position, I heard the one "Fasten your seat belt" used because they were in the car and no coffee to drink. (The seat belt was already fastened). Can you think of any other comments Edie spoke to Glenda instead of drink your coffee. And if you know the episode, include that.

Off hand I don't remember many comments of the "drink your coffee" ilk. However I have noticed how cutting Edie can be to Glenda, especially when she has uttered a statement about "My Barry"!

I remembered another one. In Just A Small Funeral, when Compo's Thursday's girl, Regina Unsworth comes in, Glenda asks her mother, "Who's that?" and Edie replies, "Read your hymn book."
