You could get away with anything back then. Some of the things I saw ( did?) back in the ‘80’s on building sites/ landscaping jobs would give current h&s executives the heebie jeebies.
Anyway I can’t spend time wittering on here I’ve got a hedge to finish trimming before tea.

I suppose if it was still being made today Ivy would be figuring out how to use an air fryer.
My love for ours ended on Christmas Eve when it nearly burnt the kitchen down!!
Luckily I heard a bottle explode and ran into the kitchen to put the fire out with a fire blanket. We’re not buying another after reading about how many seem to catch fire but may buy a halogen oven instead.

I'm on my 2nd having used them pretty much daily for 5 years plus without problems. Mine have been Phillips were yours the same make?
