How tall were Foggy, Seymour and (is) Truly?

The third man always is the tallest in the trio, well until more recently.

How tall do you reckon?

Foggy I believe was 6'3"

Seymour was about the same or slighlty smaller between 6'1" and 6'3"

Truly probably was 6'1" when younger, but more 5'11" now.
 
in the man from oswestry foggy said he was the same height as john wayne which i think makes him 6ft 4ins :)
 
No, Compo was shorter than Clegg! Just a tiny bit, but he was.
It´s really not easy to say what height they were/ are. I always thought Foggy was taller than Seymour and Truly, but maybe I´m wrong. I think 6'4" for Foggy could well be.
 
I have a vague memory that Brian Wilde/Foggy's height is mentioned in ether A Bells or A Vines book somewhere.

In my menswear selling days I would have offered Cleggy a short fitting jacket, and Foggy a long fitting. I would not have offered Compo anything as he would not be buying! ;D ;D ;D

Mind you that was fifty years or more ago when I did that.
