Still to buty my keyboard and mouse - there are about fifteen USB ports on the new machien! Som no need for wireless.

The wireless is what I used to hear "Meet the Huggetts" on or two way Family Favourites!!!

About a year ago, after having developed a bad case of "mouse shoulder", I replaced my ergonomic keyboard and conventional mouse (both wired) with a wired ergonomic keyboard and touch-pad built into the palm rest. It took a couple of weeks for the messed-up shoulder to heal, but I've not had any pain from it since. When I was focused on what I was doing, I used to develop a death grip on the mouse, which contributed pain in the right hand, as well. That's gone, too.

I bought a Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo so only requires one USB Port. I love it. I can even switch it easily between my two computers if I need to.

    Add ons?

Not quite sure I totally comprehend.

Still on XP on one machine, Yosemite on the Apple and El Capitano on this one ...

but have a newer MS enable machine with Windows 10 but not yet commissioned as need a new keyboard and mouse as the existing spare ones are non USB attachment!

as its all running slow and doing daft things like pretending my external drives have dropped off the end of the world! Apparently the MAC does not like a hub, even a powered one; but necessary as they are so miserly with the number of USB ports and need one for keyboard, one for mouse and that leaves not many more ....

If you are a Firefox user and use "addons" such as download managers, alternative themes or other, security related (ad-blockers script blockers) on no account let Firefox update to Version 53, most addons will break!
THIS IS BY DESIGN. See THIS post.

Took me a bloody hour last night. I had Firefox set to install updates automatically. I use some very powerful coder addons for my web development work, they ALL broke/stopped working. I had to revert to an older version in the end.
