Just finished reading Nevil Shute's Pied Piper. What an
absolutely wonderful novel of early WW 2. Old man fishing
in France as the Germans invade shepherds a growing flock
of children from many countries across France, through
bombing and strafing to the coast. If you have not read it,
do so. I am still a bit teary from some scenes.
