Billie Whitelaw has died aged 82. People of my generation first saw her on t v in black and white. She made the transition from small screen to big screen and theatre. Her later films were THE OMEN, THE KRAYS and HOT FUZZ.

I didn't recognize the name so looked her up. She started in radio at age 11 and her last film shows 2007. Wow, that's some long career.

I always liked Billie from an early age. Very sad. RIP.
