Throughout the hundereds of Summer Wine episodes, I noticed some reoccurring storylines. I think this is fine when it involves different eras and different cast members.
After recently watching Spores, it dawned on me that it has a lot of similarites to Adopted by a Stray fron Series 16. In different ways it shows an abandoned wife and some of the characters out to search to find the husband or reunite therm. In both, the husband is very dillusional.
Of course the storylines aren't identical, but similar enough.
What other similar episodes are there from different eras?
