Still Open All Hours

Chuck, do you mean the actor who played Father Brown in the series?

Yes, Mark Williams. And IMDB shows a new series for 2015.
Will have to look for it.

btw - here i the states, with just a TV antenna, I have to
get all my UK shows from internet torrent sites like
thepiratebay.cr and tvchaosuk.com and theshow.bz and download
them as torrents using a program like utorrent 1.8.3.

The new edition of Radio Times (Jan 3rd to 9th) has the third series showing daily* in the afternoon
over 13 episodes. This means setting the timer and wondering what the rulers of BBC scheduling are up to.
* except weekends.

My husband bought all four series in Tesco for £10. I've been watching them in between Summer Wine all over xmas.

I haven't seen any of the Christmas episopes, love the old ones though. I read in the paper this morning that 38,000 people applied for tickets to watch the studio filming at Teddington studios- it holds 500 !!

I was lucky enough to watch one of these episodes being made at Teddington.

It was also an honour to see one of the very last shows to be at Teddington Studios. They are going to knock it down to become flats.

Teddington Studios used to make all those classic Thames Television shows for Benny Hill, Morecambe and Wise, Tommy Cooper.

Total legends.
