Merry Christmas Everyone! 2024 and 2025 have been terrible years here, despite my modest success on YouTube. However, Santa's elves brought me an early present, and now I don't owe the bank my soul anymore!

i think the one thing Summer Wine brought that a lot of other shows didn't due to it's longevity, I think Carry On's might be another example is that of guaranteed work every year, and an income for at least few months of the year...
