I guess it's all down to what you paid. If you got 275ml for the price of a 250ml can, then you've got a bargain, but if you got 275ml for the price of a 300ml can, then you've been conned.

Not really a fan of Red Dwarf but at its height my kids loved it, we had a cat called smegg. I'm glad they didn't end with Extra Extra, not saying the end was spectacular but it deserved better.

Red Dwarf has had MANY, LONG, LENGTHY GAPS.
I think in the history of LOTSW, there was probably only one year, 1980, where there was no new episodes either made nor shown.

The space travelling sitcom Red Dwarf was supposed to have a new series this year, but for undisclosed reasons it seems to be on hold. Had the series aired it would technically have been running for 37 years, equalling the Summer Wine...
I'm guess decorating eggs in Bridlington has the effect of you always walking on eggshells therefore you're like to crack any minute and over there he'd be the local yolk!
Clegg however as you say was subtly altered over time instead.
Definitely 2 different eras first Foggy was less annoying, still full of tall tails but I think more practical second Foggy was more fanciful and ridiculous in his meranderings.
