it seems our @Barrychuckle snuck through a birthday recently, he must know it is almost a forum law to notify the members so we can all rush round pre party and give him the bumps, so belated happy birthday from me **^^<:

My Barry is in a film with Peter Sellers and Mr Entwistle the Return of the Pink Panther on Sky Arts at the moment still as funny as ever Barry is in a number of scenes in the Hotel , bit more than his part in Carry on Loving.

The Wrinkled stocking tea rooms are expanding & utilising part of the exhibition premises. Worth visiting.

Loved Bill Maynard. A First class natural actor, IMO.

Ran across this while perusing Internet Archive, it was created by Roy Clarke who penned the pilot, most of the series was written by Alan Plater, stars Bill Maynard. Oh No It's Selwin Froggitt (all 4 seasons 1974-78).
