I don't know if you still need a platform ticket in a UK railway station anymore. You did have to pay at one time to go onto the platform, even if you didn't actually go on a train.

I just paid £14 for postage on a £9 calendar. Before you think I was throwing money away, it's the 2026 Holme River Connections, so it's worth the money to support that organization, and as usual, the photography is gorgeous.
