Nora, Ivy and Pearl wouldn't hesitate to clear up. At every party there's the usual group that just do it automatically and those that disappear to the bathroom. It's usually a good laugh being the kitchen with other woman washing up...

Auntie would set our erstwhile trio to work and she would charge them for the privilege. It would be a particularly disheartening task for Mr Utterthwaite as everytime he thought it was over he would see more to do! :D

I thought the TV Schedules were superb this year, A Tale of 2 Sweaters, Father Christmas Suit (KUA special), The Two Ronnies & a Carry On Film. That said, that was my own viewing schedule, not that of the TV companies :08::08::08:

These are fast becoming a real mixture of output from those currently in vogue to those that are long overdue, Mr Clarke's was both well deserved andmuch later than it was merited, have a healthy and happy 2026 everyone! :)
