That's how I figured it was her the first time I saw it. I was familiar with her from the home movies section she did on the Video Treasures Laurel & Hardy Classic Collection set.

I loved how they played the music with her apparence, those hats had to be made by the costume designer because no way did a shop stock those.

I actually have them all, I just haven't gotten around to watching them because for the longest while using Gold as my background I was catching the seasons rotated in with the other shows I was catching that way. But I only did that on...

I can't imagine The Lost Weekend in color. It wouldn't have been nearly as terrifying, especially the scene in which the hallucination of a bat squeezing out of a crack in the plaster wall appears.

I've seen the OFaH 7 series through a few times but avoided Gold's airing of the specials because I never timed catching the 1st one so I have those to enjoy at the right time:)

I have to say I'm utterly amazed DDTW managed a second series as I thought it was utter dross! The old rule that spin off's are very seldom worth watching.... I controversially also apply that rule to First Of The Summer Wine too which...

I think Rick will be delighted if he returns to the Forum because he was mentioning this series a while back and was either hoping to see it or was perhaps attempting to purchase copies.

That brings to mind colorization. I'm generally a purist in wanting to see shows unaltered, especially aspect ratios/cropping (give me black bars over any loss of pic or distortion!) but I'm a mixed bag on colorization, I think it works...
