Saw a comic who did a little routine about Yorkshiremen appears they are very frugal with their vocabulary and answers are always curt so you ask one where he's from it'll always be an undescriptive one word answer for example "York" . He goes on to divulge that all Yorkshiremen have the sound of a Brass Band constantly playing in their head and they do everything at the pace dictated by the music . He quotes someone who is "Goin fu paper " the band are playing Dvorak's Largo from the old Hovis ad and the bloke trudges to the shop and back.
