If you look carefully there's posters in Sids Cafe in the earlier episodes for wrestlers. One of whom went on to feature as an actor in another long running comedy. Anyone want to guess who?

It was a coincidence that I watched an old World of Sport short the other day and the Porridge actor Brian Glover was wrestling under his moniker of Leon Arras( the man from Paris).

Outstanding Ferret! to be fair I thought no one would ever get it from my vague clues. Yes but he's on the posters in the cafe if you look out for them.

Perhaps a subject matter expert like @theatrically_inclined could elaborate on which series, from memory it's the early ones.

The first time there are wrestling posters in the Café is series 3 - I'm assuming after the redecoration in series 6 'The Odd Dog Men' Sid isn't allowed to put tawdry wrestling posters on Ivy's freshly painted walls! I'd have to watch every episode to spot a specific name.
