The both of you are in luck. Terry, there IS an idea for comic #41.. I've got stuff up to #43 so I better start thinking up more comic ideas!! Eli, #41 just happens to have Blamire in it. Possibly the only/first comic with him in it aside from the tribute comic I did when the last episode...

What is this building used for

Not really featured in a scene, but it's part of the backdrop in the background scenery. Like how Castle Hill, Emley Moor Transmitter tower and most of the reservoirs can be seen in the background. They're not part of the scene or dialogue going on, but you can see those landmarks in the...

How did you get into Last of the Summer Wine

Had made a family trip to Florida to Disney in 2007 of August and turned on the PBS station down there, saw they had Doctor Who on. I haven't seen Doctor Who on a PBS station in 20 years. When we came back home to North Carolina after the vacation, I checked to see out of curiosity if Doctor Who...

Here We Go Into The Wild Blue Yonder

Correct. Three Men and a Mangle was indeed Thornton. One thing that makes Crigglestone a legitimate answer, if not for the pictures (plus the big electrical tower power lines in Google Earth.. you can also see in the episode).. but Crigglestone Viaduct is near Mirfield (which is where they...

    Another Summer Wine comic...

The tie, being that both of them were in the RASC.... buuuuuuuuuut not exactly Foggy being a sniper and deadly killer *hand chops* and Peacock not being on the front lines. Foggy being a signwriter and Peacock in one of the AYBS episodes revealing that he was a mess hall cook or something...

    R.I.P. Eric Sykes

Sad to hear of his passing, though I've only seen him in a couple things, The Plank, Daring Young Men in Their Jaunty Jalopies and his Summer Wine appearance. Reading through this thread, it looks like he was regarded in the same way Andy Griffith was (american actor) whom we lost yesterday. RIP..
