John. That is a fascinating video. It almost seems to be like a military operation with all the timing, coordination, radio communications, and moving parts. Very impressive. It must be exciting to work there and be part of the production.

I felt the same way Amos. The Tour went through Huddersfield, Holmfirth, and Holme so quickly it was difficult to see anything. Our US coverage did give LOTSW a plug as they were approaching Holmfirth.

Everyone has their own opinion, but I thought it was in poor taste.

Lodges Building This is a screen shot from Google Street View. It appears to look like the picture in the link that Marianna sent. When this photo was shot, they were standing in front of the Holmfirth post office.

I liked the opening scene on the hillside when Compo says "Charlie Pablo has a bit tucked away in a eunuch's truss". Brian and Peter can easily be seen as finding this truly amusing. The professional that Bill Owen was....not even a smirk!

I agree. Jane always appeared to be approximately Kathy Staff's age......which would put her in her early to mid 80's. But that is just a guess.
