That's a great write-up - very complete. I have the Vintage 1979 series 5 and there are no interviews or extras on the DVDs. Everything else you wrote matches up exactly with my USA Vintage DVDs.
I remember it well, but can't think of the episode. Compo is ignoring her to get a reaction. She goes up the steps singing, "Some Enchanted Evening." Looked for it last night but couldn't find it. Can't try again until this evening. Hope someone thinks of it and puts me out of my misery.
If you listen carefully when Nora is tending the woman and helping her sit up, she says, "Mind your leg." It's impossible to tell if the line was given in the original shooting of the shot or dubbed in later because Nora is facing the patient.

Actually, I watched the program on Monday but didn't see it. But on Wednesday, I recognized Ivy's clothes and hair from being in that season - season 30 and also the kitchen being set up the same. So then it was easy to review the programs and find the right one.
Will Randolph Make a Good Impression? The women are discussing motor biking the way Nellie and Pearl did it compared to the way Nora and Wally did it. Then Ivy comes out and says "I don't think Wally was built for speed." They just played this on our PBS station.
