No. No, it isn't.
I can understand and tolerate tv adverts for Christmas tat from early November - making and selling the stuff keeps millions of people in work. Of course I have to say that while I'm promoting my book as a Christmas gift idea!
What I cannot tolerate is... my neighbour...
You soon learn not to wear jewellery, long sleeves or ties. They all snag on every conceivable cable tray and support. And look at the floor between every step while scanning the top of the the equipment looking for the part you want - or you'll fall down a missing or dislodged floor panel. And...
I always buy the E5 "Super" - but I keep forgetting the price of the main display outside is for E10, that's about 10p / litre cheaper.
I had my first car in 1979, I'm sure petrol was 35p / gallon!
I prise up the ring with a spoon, then lever it open against the opposite side of the top of the tin. I still usually get tomato soup splashed on my shirt, though.
(edit) Oh, just noticed the above post - a spoon is cheaper!
Does anyone (in UK) have a copy of the Last of the Summer Wine (Cartoon Book 1983)?
This one ...
I'm researching for a video and it would be useful if I could borrow it - via post (or in person in the remote possibility you're near Milton Keynes). As as a thank you I'm offering a gift of a...

I have a side-project some members might be interested in ...
I have (finally) scanned, and edited my Grandfather's World War 1 memoirs, and they are now available as a book on Amazon - and other online sellers.
There is a web site: https://www.trenchesandtrees.org/
and the Amazon link...
In no particular order:
Pink Floyd - The Wall (thanks to the late John Peel)
Pet Shop Boys - Inner Sanctum (not fair to make me choose between them...)
Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
*Many* years ago, I though I'd chose my favourite singles from the collection I owned - 1392...
There wouldn't be a trap door at all, as the studio floor is solid concrete - and it's only in that one episode. The cellar itself would have been a separate set, with the part of the shop set you can see through the trap-door replicated. You don't actually see Arkwright fall into the cellar...
I had several, one was a Teac, can't remember the others, but they were used for my hobby-profession! I still have some 15ips recordings, including the 1988 tape for my "Dry Dock" video!
