Arnpepper from 'Ballad for Wind Instruments and Canoe' was quite fun. Also -- and whilst not technically a barmpot -- I really like Chip from 'Pate and Chips'. I really wished they'd filmed the sing-a-long with him near the end of the story.

I think it's a posed/publicity shot. There's normally always at least one person on a film set tasked with taking photos for various reasons. Nice shots, though. :)

Yeah they should have done, Barry. I was amazed how hard it was to find photos from the series, particularly specific ones like Wally and Nora. I was just lucky enough to find some shop selling a load on eBay a while back. Even then I still had to take screenshots from DVDs to get Sid and Ivy...

I've always assumed that the main part of Compo's lack of hygiene was overembellished by the other two; otherwise I can't really see them, or others, sticking around him for too long. I'm pretty sure he washed more regularly than he let on -- at least in the vital areas, anyway. Lol His feet...
