    Garage

I think the Bay Horse is called something else now. Maybe someone else will know and proffer up an answer. I mainly remember it from the episode 'Three Men And A Mangle', and the fact that I have a photo (from quite a few years ago) of me and my dad standing outside of it. Not very interesting...

Selecting a tribute episode for each departed cast member

Yes it was such a great introduction for her, Keith, I agree. Just watched it again and I never tire of it. :) (I'm now on Uncle Of The Bride). I was amazed to find out -- not too long ago -- that Jean was in Summer Wine longer (timewise) than she was in Coronation Street.

Selecting a tribute episode for each departed cast member

For Auntie Wainwright I would choose Crums. Mind you, I love that episode so much I would probably choose it for everyone else as well. Lol Especially given the warming ending.

Thanks, Barry. Yeah I know they are pretty super in that respect. I think it was mainly due to them that the Royal Variety Performance extract was released.

I was trying to track it down a while ago but then Covid struck and scuppered my plans. The London Metropolitan Archives may...

Catching up with a couple of episodes.

I don"t think this episode is as bad as some people make out, either, ferret. Although, I will say, I'm still unsure as to my opinion on the musical arrangement of the theme tune on this one.
