She also has a fine turn in the film version of Whoops Apocalypse as the President of America - whilst far from a gentle comedy both this and it's tv series are full of recognisable comedy stars and and well worth an occasionally unsettling watch.
It's ok enough but never really cememented David as a star fully as a cetain Peckham flat was calling at the end of it's 3 year run. Some nice early appearences from Richard Wilson and Alun Armstrong too.
The memory may be cheating but this wasn't a mistake if I recall it was addressed as him having retired and coming back several times "to spend less time with the wife."

Norm was mostly a one note character but George Wendt imbued him with such warmth that you could really enjoy his performance. Frasier is a very watchable show with many excellent moments and has some great build up from his Cheers days. The recent reboot works just about but hasn't the strength...
